dc.description.abstractAfghans have experienced conflicts and wars since 1979, and was in 2022 rankes as the world's 3rd most fragile country. A severe humanitarian crusis and limitations on basic rights poses severe challenges for the population. The Citizens Organisation for Advocay and Resiliences (COAR) was established in 1989 and is today one of Afghanstan's leading NGOs with broad participation in international NGO networks and policy forum. The 2023-2027 Strategic Plan sets out a path with emphasis within core areas as WASH, education, livelihood and food security and emergency response and disaster risk reduction. It envisage further organisational development with an emphasis on capasity building, ensuring a supportive organisational and team culture, transparency and accountability to all stakeholders though active use of MEAL and strengtening of their collaborative networking and advocacy efforts.
